Established in 1985, Professional Audience Communications (PAC) is a publishing company dedicated to the creation of media designed to effectively communicate with professional markets. Though PAC has produced international monographs, posters for global dental research conferences, proceedings highlights of oral care research symposia, patient newsletters, brand-specific case reports and sales aids, the cornerstone of our business has been our accredited continuing education (CE) newsletter serials, developed to offer exclusivity and maximum impact to the sponsor's advertising. Over the last 23 years, PAC has been honored to produce programs under the sponsorship of Colgate-Palmolive, Procter & Gamble, Chesebrough-Pond's, SmithKline Beecham, Dentsply International's Preventive Care and Trubyte Divisions, Enamelon, Optiva, OraPharma, Align Technology, Hill Top Research, Oral-B, Discus Dental, Ondine Biopharma, Pfizer, and Church & Dwight.

Among PAC's more notable publishing ventures: Update in Pediatric Dentistry, produced with the cooperation and assistance of the AAPD for pediatric and general dentists; Seminars in Dental Hygiene and Case Studies in Dental Hygiene, each developed for a national audience of dental hygienists; Case Studies in Oral Disease, a CE program sponsored by the AAOMS; Case Studies in Periodontal Management, a quarterly accredited CE series for dental hygiene professionals; Focus on Adult Oral Health, an ASGD-endorsed CE series addressing the oral manifestations of aging; Dental Connection, an accredited CE series for a dentist/dental hygiene audience; Case Studies in Orthodontics, an accredited CE program for orthodontists in training and practice; Cases & Commentaries in Orthodontic Technology, a brand-driven case studies series; White Papers, a series addressing the relationship between oral and systemic diseases; and the Oral Care Report, an internationally distributed, Forsyth-accredited CE program which we produce in print and as an Internet-based, interactive series. In 1997, PAC wrote and produced Advances and Progress in Oral Health Through Oral Care Education, an award-winning comprehensive monograph addressing the efficacy of oral health education initiatives in developed and underdeveloped nations. PAC also publishes The Journal of Clinical Dentistry, an international journal of clinical and applied dental research and reviews. To date, more than 4 million issues and reprints bearing The Journal's name are in circulation worldwide.

In 1995 PAC was awarded a Special Citation by the American Society for Geriatric Dentistry. In 1999 and in 2006 the company earned Special Citations in the Journalism Competition of the International College of Dentists, and in 2004, the PAC-published Oral Care Report received the Golden Pen Award for editorial content in that competition.
